The role – IT Deployment Technician.

The salary – 70,000 – 80,000

The location – Edinburgh (hybrid-remote; remote working with occasional visit to Edinburgh site when required).

We’re working with a fantastic organisation looking to add an IT Deployment Technician to their team, responsible for the deployment and integration of their specialist software platform, ensuring it is configured to work alongside third party applications within the organisations medical clients. As part of the team you’ll demonstrate excellent technical knowledge as you set up custom interfaces and, where required, provide technical support for applicable software applications.

Your day-to-day:

• You’ll work closely with the organisations clients to implement their platform, trial new platforms and third party applications, taking responsibility to ensure successful delivery every time.
• Work alongside partners and clients to ensure the measurement and reporting of key criteria of deployed software, utilising feedback to drive improvement.
• Use your expert knowledge to provide insights to help drive forward product roadmaps.
• Work alongside both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide excellent service and support throughout the lifecycle of the software deployment, ensuring that all client needs are addressed and they’re supported throughout.
• Work alongside your team to drive improvement to support the businesses growth plan.

About you:

• You’ll have experience in a technical support role for enterprise software.
• Knowledge of Healthcare technologies, including DICOM, VNA, RIS and PACS.
• Knowledge of both Microsoft and Linux systems, web services and Infrastructure and Cloud platforms.
• The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting your communication style where needed.
• An understanding of cybersecurity is beneficial.
• The ability to work independently.
• Ideally you’ll have extensive experience within the healthcare / medical IT field, or other regulated industries (finance, pharmaceutical etc).
