FPSG seek an experienced IT Manager to join an ever expanding, market sector leader in Glasgow City Centre, to take ownership for the maintenance, enhancement and security for core systems.

The IT Manager will have responsibility for maintaining IT policies and processes across all locations internationally. Driving system improvements and owning planning, deployment and security, also monitoring, maintaining and innovating multi-site infrastructure.

The successful IT Managers will have key responsibilities including the following:

• Provide IT support across all locations
• Implement / maintaining group-wide IT policies and processes (inc ISO 27001 and Soc2)
• Maintenance and improvement of infrastructure of critical business systems
• Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, Microsoft O365
• Taking ownership for infrastructure improvement such as Cloud, SaaS, IaaS
• Supplier management, IT procurement and managing IT operational budget.

To be successful in the IT Manager role, your career will include the following:

• A proven track record of IT systems management in a similar role
• A degree or similar relevant qualification
• Expert knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, DNS, O365
• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Endpoint Security, RDS, Mimecast, Unified Comms
• Detailed understanding of document management, device management and security functions
• Familiarity with infrastructure transitioning from on-premises to Cloud SaaS
• A strong understanding of IT procurement and Operational budget.
• Comfort maintaining and improving ISO 27001, Cyber credentials, Soc2
• A proven ability to manage and set expectations in a highly IT-literate user-base

This post is hybrid-working with an expected 3 days a week in the Glasgow City centre office. Hence a commutable distance will be required. Travel to other national and international office may be necessary.

Candidates may be required to meet security requirements for this role before they can be appointed. You must have rights to work in the UK, and able to gain UK security clearances. Candidates will be required to have or obtain security vetting to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) level as part of the recruitment offer process.

In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a salary and package that’s commensurate with your experience. (Banded between 50 – 60k) Package includes Holidays, Pension, Private Medical, Insurance, EAP, Study Support etc
