£45,000 – £50,000A brand-new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a IT Manager to join the amazing team at Samaritans Purse International (MPI) and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). SPI is an international relief and development organisation that works through local churches to proclaim and demonstrate the love of God amongst communities in need across the world.

As the IT Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments across SPI & BGEA heading up the IT function. The IT Manager will be responsible for the Strategic IT Vision, Project Management, Cyber Security, Data PRotection, Data Management and IT Budgeting.

You will also be responsible for the management of the Data Manager & IT Support Analyst.Skills required for the IT Manager are:

• Broad knowledge and experience across IT hardware & software management
• IT Operations experience in a virtualised environment e.g. VMWare
• Strong knowledge of the MS Stack
• Systems administration of MS Windows Servers and PCs
• Knowledge of Web Application Development using a modern programming framework
• SQL Query writing skills
• Passion to work hands-on and get involved in projects

Due to both the ethos and context of the role there is an ‘occupational requirement’ for the post holder to be an evangelical Christian. The job holder should be committed to the purpose of SPI and be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the Christian purposes of the organisation and be able to live out, hold to, support and contribute to its Christian ethos.

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 plus excellent benefits

Location: Coventry – Office Based
