Our global biotech client is looking for an IT & Security Audit Consultant to join their UK team on a part time basis. This role will likely be between 16 and 24 hours per week and would suit someone who is able to travel to Cambridge on an ad-hoc basis.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the IT and data security
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to manage audits and reporting
Advising on cyber security and process to align with company policies
Managing relationships with external authorities
Working closely with the senior leadership team
Delivering cyber security awareness training
Ensuring the company are taking all necessary steps towards security policies
Providing quarterly audit reviews
Ensuring the company is always in a state of audit readiness
Managing confidential data
The successful candidate will have:
Experience working within an IT function managing the security of IT and Data
Keen interest in audits and assurance
Extensive background in cyber security
Experience and knowledge of data protection laws including GDPR
Experience in planning and delivering complex audits
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experience conducting Penetration testing
Experience working with various internal and external stakeholders globally
