Our client is looking for an experienced IT Solutions Manager.

This role offers a dynamic environment for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT Solutions across various departments. These include warehousing, administration, finance, quality, and customer service. Working closely with the IT team department, and external stakeholders to ensure that the IT systems and software align with the business goal and requirements thus ensuring each day is engaging and rewarding, all while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. This position requires office presence and occasional out-of-hours availability, so candidates should reside within commuting distance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilise your strong background in SAP modules such as WM, IM, SD, and FICO to effectively manage and optimise our SAP system. Overseeing the configuring, customising, and maintaining of SAP functionalities to meet the needs of our business.
• Lead and manage a team of IT experts specialised in SAP WM, SD, FICO, Web Development, and BI data Cube
• Take ownership of all IT Systems and software within the Business
• Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between the IT Solutions team and the physical infrastructure
• Work closely with the Business Performance team to ensure any new requirements are rolled out and trained across the business and process documents are created or updated and all technical documentation and validation is completed and stored electronically.
• Maintain IT security methodology and implement and maintain ISO27001 across the business. Stay updated on GDPR and other relevant legislation to ensure compliance and protect our IT solutions and data.
• Take responsibility for all IT policies and processes and ensure technical documentation and validation is accurate and maintained. Ensure our IT disaster recovery and business continuity procedures and agreed, documented, and tested regularly.
• Responsible for internal IT audits of our software and IT processes.
• Take responsibility for the IT solutions budget planning and to ensure research and design documentation is completed to assist our annual claim.

Requirements:

• Experience in managing IT systems and software implementation and maintenance. This includes experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, and familiarity with modules like WM, IM, SD, FICO.
• Strong project management skills are essential for overseeing IT projects, managing resources, and ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Knowledge of IT security methodologies and experience in implementing and maintaining relevant standards, such as ISO27001.
• Cyber security awareness and knowledge of best practices to mitigate risks.
• Ability to create scope documents and IT change requests based on customer requirements.
• Proficiency in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of IT experts.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
