The role – Security Analyst.

The salary – 56,000 – 64,000

The location – Inverness (hybrid, 1-2 days a month on site where required).

We’re working with a fantastic organisation looking to add a Security Analyst to their team as they continue to deliver a leading medical device to improve peoples quality of life. The Security Analyst will play an important role in assessing and enhancing the security of the organization’s medical devices, requiring great attention to detail and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, governance and medical regulations.

The successful candidate will work with other teams to identify and address potential security risks and implement security measures to protect against threats.

Your day-to-day:

• Conduct security assessments and penetrating testing on the organisations devices to identify any potential risks.
• Monitor security incidents, design and implement security measures to ensure best practice incident response and mitigation.
• Evaluate security tools and technologies and recommend solutions to enhance the security of the organisations devices.
• Provide technical guidance to our teams, ensuring security compliance.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the organisation’s security awareness through training programs and fostering a security led culture.

About you:

• You’ll be an experienced Security Analyst or have experience within Cybersecurity.
• Experience carrying out security and vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and secure coding practices.
• Experience with medical device security.
• Industry related certifications, such as CISA, CISM, CISSP or the equivalent.
• Experience in the medical technology, pharma or a similar field is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and experience within a team environment.
