Position: Technical Project Manager

Salary: Up to £60,000

Location of Office: Sheffield

Location of Work: Hybrid Work from Home

The Role: An exciting position has now been created for a Technical Project Manager to join our clients growing technology team in central Sheffield. Our client is a fast growing start up in the cybersecurity market who are working on the development of a range of new, innovative security products for the Cloud infrastructure, 5G and IoT markets.

They are looking for a passionate Technical Project Manager who has a hands-on software or electronics design background who is keen to work to modern development processes and has proven experience taking products from a blank piece of paper through to manufacture.

Joining a small technology team the successful Technical Project Manger can expect their role to be varied whilst getting the chance to make a real impact in the development of a host of new, innovative products that will be used around the globe. You will be tasked with leading multiple projects that require software, hardware and mechanical components. You can expect to develop, monitor and action project plans, work closely with software and electronics design engineers and liaise with customers to better understand their requirements in order to guide the team in bringing these products through to manufacture.

Key Skills Required:

• Project management experience within a hardware and software product environment
• Technical background in electronics or software design
• Experience using recognised Project management models and tools
• Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience of managing Network Deployment projects
• Knowledge of ISO27001, ISO9001 & ISO14001
• Experience in a start-up environment
