Test Manager – Cyber Security Recovery

My Insurance sector client is looking for an experienced Test manager to come join and manage a cyber security test team for a 6 month contract. This is a technically focused role so you will have hands on experience of the r process as well as experience managing E2E.

• Experience in Cyber recovery testing is preferred but not essential

• Experience in the insurance sector is preferred

Essential Skills

• Strong stakeholder management
• Strong Communication – due to the complex nature of this project and the various levels of stakeholders, candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. The test outcomes will feed into the Operational Resilience evidence to the respective boards and the regulator.
• Technical understanding – this is a very technical project so you need to have a good technical understanding rather than only experience in managing business focused testing.

• Experience of managing the test process E2E
• Has worked in the insurance sector on test projects

Key Tasks

• Responsibility for the end to end test management of the Cyber Recovery Programme, covering both Technical and Business testing
• Deliver a Group Wide Cyber Recovery Test Approach to clearly document the planned testing and how this will be governed. This should include appropriate methodologies, tools and resourcing to ensure effective testing.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders including technical and business project teams, to understand testing requirements and plan the test activity.
• Lead and execute on all test activities using the available test resources across the divisions and Group Tech teams.
• Produce the relevant test artefacts including test plans, test execution and test completions reports, etc
