We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Tier 2 SOC Analyst. This is your chance to join a leading 24/7 managed security services provider!

What You Can Expect

• Location – Remote (MUST be based in the UK)
• Salary – £50,000 and 15% shift bonus

Main Responsibilities of a Tier 2 SOC Analyst

• Investigating and responding to highly complex security alerts.
• Ensuring SOC triage incidents are addresses promptly and in line with SLA’s.
• Acting as a subject matter expert on incident detection and analysis for junior analysts whilst on shift.
• Performing threat hunting to highlight and respond to security trends.
• Coordinating incident response efforts and communicating to the wider team.
• Investigating potential incidents leading to either a close or escalation and documenting action taken.
• Using Azure Sentinel for historical searches.
• Support SOC event and information intake including intelligence reports and monitoring reported incidents.
• Coaching junior SOC analysts when required.
• Assist with analytical rule tuning.

Qualifications and Skills

• CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ON A ROTATING 24 X 7 SHIFT PATTERN (7AM-7PM AND 7PM-7AM). THIS WILL BE 4 ON, 4 OFF.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a SOC Analyst.
• Experience using Azure Senintel, Chronicle, Splunk or equivalent.
• Interest in building a career within Cyber Security.
